The PVI 1800/PVI 2500 can be installed quick & easy, both indoors and outdoors.  With an average weight of 35 lbs. (16 kg), the PVI 1800/PVI 2500 is  easy to handle.  (Note:  Most typical inverters weigh an average of 70 lbs. (32 kg)). The inverters also include "pre-wired" AC and DC cables for quick wiring at the jobsite without opening the inverter.

The PVI 1800/PVI 2500 provides industry leading reliability.  One look at the automated product and PCB assembly inside the inverter shows its industrial quality.  Rigorously designed and tested for the harshest conditions, the PVI 1800/PVI 2500 proves to be consistently reliable.

The PVI 1800/PVI 2500 has been tested to the UL 1741 and IEEE standard 1547 and meets all the requirements.  An important selling point of this inverter is the galvanic isolation, which increases both reliability and safety.

All aluminum construction and high efficiency design provides full rated power in ambient temperatures up to 130^oF (55^oC).  No de-rating will occur.

Optional panel assemblies make installing a PV system even faster and easier. Panel assemblies can be used with inverters set to 240VAC or 208VAC and their design compliments the sleek, low profile inverters to provide a clean, compact installation. The standard assembly includes visible-blade AC and DC disconnects and an optional, revenue-grade, factory-sealed, reconditioned kWh meter — all mounted on an aluminum panel using stainless steel hardware. An inverter with complete panel assembly weighs only 65 lb (29.5 kg) and may be shipped via UPS.

Easy to Operate: Plug and Play Monitoring

The PVI 1800/PVI 2500 comes standard with LCD-display and auto-detect RS232/485 to provide a PC interface with excellent monitoring and data-acquisition capability. Free PC software is included and Fat Spaniel web-based monitoring is available as an option.

• Single-panel, 1 to 3kW installations for residential or commercial properties
• Multiple 1 to 3kW, separately metered systems for town houses, condos, apartments, or commercial properties
• Two- and three-inverter panels are available for 4 to 9kW systems (3.6-7.5 kWAC). Multiple, paralleled panels are set to go through a single kWh meter.
• Components may be omitted, added or substituted to meet state, municipal or utility requirements
